Weather data collected in the Elephant Butte Irrigation District, and snowpack data collected outside of the EBID. Snowpack information collected outside of EBID is sourced from the Natural Resources Conservation Service under the US Department of Agriculture. Weather station in the EBID collect air, ground surface, and soil temperatures, barometric pressure, precipitation, relative humidity, soil volumetric moisture content, solar radiation, vapor pressure, and wind direction and speed.
