  • To improve public health and the environment, the EPA collects information about facilities or sites subject to environmental regulation. This page provides state comma separated value (CSV) files containing key information of all facilities and sites within the Facility Registry System (FRS). Each state zip file contains a single CSV file of key facility-level information including facility name and address, geospatial information, EPA and State programs the facility is associated with, and facility industry classifications (SIC and NAICS codes and descriptions). Complete documentation of the CSV file is included within the zip archive. • This page provides the inventory inputs, ambient and exposure concentrations, and results for the 2011 National-scale Air Toxics Assessments. The starting point for the 2011 NATA inventory was the 2011 National Emissions Inventory. There are also links to supporting files and web pages. EPA suggests that the results of this assessment be used cautiously, as the overall quality and uncertainties of the assessment will vary from location to location as well as from pollutant to pollutant. In many cases more localized assessments, including monitoring and modeling, may be needed to better characterize local-level risk. • MERGANSER is a model that estimates Mercury (Hg) concentrations (ppm) for common species in 4400 New England lakes. It was designed to estimate Hg under current conditions, but can also be used to predict how fish Hg might change under a limited set of hypothetical conditions, such as small increases in average temperature or reductions in Hg deposition. For a complete description of the model, its uses and limitations, see Shanley, et al. Environmental Science and Technology, 2012. 46:4641-4648. • This map displays selected locations that have received funding from US EPA through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The placement of award locations on this map is from EPA's FRS Geospatial program and represents EPA's best estimation of recovery work locations. State-wide awards are placed at the location of the state capital. County-wide and city-wide awards are placed at the center of the county or city. For site-specific awards, a representative point within the site boundary was used. All other data comes from award recipient reported data as required by Section 1512 of the ARRA. • On this page, EPA has summarized key information from the 2012 Chemical Data Reporting effort, which is EPA's most recent CDR data. The Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) Rule, issued under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), requires manufacturers (including importers) to give EPA information on the chemicals they manufacture domestically or import into the United States. EPA uses the data to help assess the potential human health and environmental effects of these chemicals and makes the non-confidential business information it receives available to the public. • Download daily data for a specific location and time period. This tool queries daily air quality summary statistics for the criteria pollutants by monitor. You can get data for specific monitors or all monitors in a city, county, or state. Timeliness of data - The daily summaries come direcly from the AQS Data Mart which contains ambient air pollution data collected by EPA, state, local, and tribal air pollution control agencies. Most data in AQS is required to be submitted by the end of the calendar quarter after the quarter in which it was collected. However, AQS is updated practically every day as reporting agencies have data ready to submit. A key milestone in reporting is May 1st, by which all data for the prior year should be complete and correct. The data in this archive are from 1980 through 2016. Data were harvested on Mar 11 2017 12:03:44 GMT-0600 (Central Standard Time). Internet Archive URL: https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://www.epa.gov/outdoor-air-quality-data/download-daily-data

  • EPA no longer updates this information, but it may be useful as a reference or resource. Welcome to the STORET Legacy Data Center, site of the world's largest repository of ambient Water Quality Data. From this site you will be able to access a database that holds over 200 million water sample observations from about 700,000 sampling sites for both surface and ground water. This web site allows both scientists and the general public to access the historical data from the legacy STORET system. First-time users should narrow their search based on the options from the Query page, while experienced users may jump to the no-frills Advanced Query form for requesting data. Legacy STORET contains data of undocumented quality. Further, the data in this system is static, and all new data are being entered into Modernized STORET. Background information about the Office of Water and the history of STORET may be found by following the Purpose link. For more information on the layout of this site, please follow the Site Map link. Internet Archive URL: https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://www3.epa.gov/storet/legacy/gateway.htm
