Overview

The Fish database from IFB-Potsdam cover information on fish communities in lakes and rivers of the eastern part of Germany. Fish are sampled by electrofishing and multimesh nets, additionally information is collected using fisherman inquiry and other methods. The database includes information on morphometric, hydrological and some physico-chemical parameters of lakes and river segments. Data on benthic or planctonic organisms are available to a lesser extent.
