Database of widely distributed data for Iranian freshwater fish occurrences collected in the last 35 years. These data are actually hidden in studies of the Iranian provinces, regions and some other local administration, and in the “grey literature”. These literature resources and data of examination of ichthyological collections in Iran, Europe and North America and extensive field expeditions from 1976–2012 will be collected together (more than 7000 records), and the records will be georeferenced and organized into one database.
