Quarterly Coal Statistics provide rapid, accurate and detailed statistics on production and trade of coal mainly in, but not limited to, the OECD area. Coal data are obtained from official national publications or from other official publications, or are estimated using reliable sources. Once a year, all quarterly data are revised to be consistent with the annual data from the Coal Information publication. The complete Quarterly Coal Statistics datasets are available from Q1 2016, and published in IVT format. IVT files must be opened in the Beyond 20/20 Browser software which can be downloaded at https://www.beyond2020.com/IEA/ProBrowser71.zip The complete Quarterly Coal Statistics datasets can also be accessed for free through the IEA Web Data Service by logging in as GUEST with the password GUEST.
