Floods are a natural phenomenon, however, they can take lives and cause hundreds of millions in damage annually. Dikes, dams and other protective measures help keep us safe, but it is necessary for every resident of Romania to be well informed and prepared. Effective flood management requires the collaboration of public institutions, the private sector and civil society.
