Overview

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) provides downloadable datasets covering the use of non-hospital Medicare-subsidised services, such as GP, allied health, specialist, diagnostic imaging, and nursing and Aboriginal health workers. The data are presented at national and state and territory levels, and for Primary Health Network (PHN) regions and Statistical Area Level 3 (SA3). Usage is separated by age group and sex where possible. Reporting is per financial year from 2013 onward.
