Overview

In an expanding bark beetle (Ips typographus) infestation spot emergence traps were installed on the stems of newly infested spruce trees capturing all emerging insects during several consecutive years. Two locations were sampled on elavations with univoltine and bivoltine generations, respectively. Bark beetles and their insect predators and parasitoids were identified to species level by specialists.
