The International Aluminium Institute (IAI) is the only body representing the global primary aluminium industry. IAI member companies are engaged in the production of bauxite, alumina, aluminium, the recycling of aluminium, or fabrication of aluminium or as joint venture partners in such. While the Institute works closely with the national and regional aluminium associations, with which it shares many members, the associations themselves are not members of the IAI.

This excel workbook includes International Aluminium Institute datasets for primary ingot – based on global reporters across the aluminium industry, including recycled ingot based on data from European Aluminium and The Aluminum Association in the US, and semis fabricated products. The data, which spans from 2005 – 2019, covers all processes from mining to recycling and all ancillary processes including transport and electricity production.
