- Spatio-seasonal conditional risk of upward lightning over the eastern AlpsThe different datasets contain modeled cumulative number of hours exceeding a conditional probability of upward lightning over 45 ◦ N-50 ◦ N and 8 ◦ E-17 ◦ E at hourly and 1 km2 grid cell resolution. The models are random forests based on direct upward lightning observations at the Gaisberg Tower in Salzburg, Austria (2000 to 2015 and mid 2020-2023) linked to 35 larger-scale meteorological reanalysis data. The modeled probabilities are called conditional due to a balanced model setup of equally large situations with and without upward lightning at the Gaisberg Tower. Data are used in the article "Spatio-seasonal conditional risk of upward lightning over the eastern Alps" (https://doi.org/10.48550/arXiv.2403.18853)1Licence not specified6 months ago
- PTR3 data measured in Hyytiälä during field campaign: Emissions of BVOC and their oxidation products contributing to New Particle Formation (BVOC-NPF)Here we publish data of selected volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds measured during a field campaign in 2016 in Hyytiälä, Finland, with the PTR3 mass spectrometer. Additionally we provide wind data measured by a sonic anemometer close to the PTR3 inlet.1Licence not specified10 months ago

The climate data has been recorded in Obergurgl at an elevation of 1938 m.a.s.l. The standard weather station (11°01'30'' E, 46°52'01'' N) is located at the west-facing slope of the Innermost Gurgltal, Ötztal, Tirol, about 30 m above the village at the valley floor. The dataset contains daily values of air temperature and precipitation over the period 1953 to 2011. Data were collected at the Central Meteorological Station of the Alpine Research Station Obergurgl (AFO), a local network of several Natural Science Departments of the University of Innsbruck.1Licence not specified10 months ago
