This dataset consists of a compilation of Environmental Insight's estimate of transport emissions within the city of Umeå per year. In addition to estimated emissions, there is information on a total of all trips, per year, made within Umeå's city borders as well as trips that crossed the city borders.Total travel distance for all trips is aggregated and modeled for the entire city using aggregated location information from Google Location History and other sources.Annual transport emissions are calculated based on an extrapolation of the total distance for all journeys made, type of transport mode and average fuel consumption for each transport mode.Regionally estimated average fuel consumption and emissions from the Urban Sustainability Tool (Curb) climate measure are applied to all journeys for each mode.Source: Environmental Insights Explorer (2023-01-10)
