This data set has two sets of gaseous elemental mercury data. The first column contains all Hg related data some of which may have been affected by the upslope events such as the emissions from the nearby volcano. The next column contain values that were flagged and excluded as being affected by the nearby volcanic events. The flagging method used to eliminate these values was developed using an episode identification scheme using SO2 data. For the years of 2002 through 2004, hourly SO2 data were used to llag the upslope values. For the years of 2005-2009, 5 minute SO2 values were used to flag upslope events. While SO2 and O3 data were collected by EPA as part of this study, the CO2 data were downloaded from NOAA data website along with the flag related information provided below.
