The Urban Green Area information product contains spatial explicit information on green areas located within the Urban Extent (derived from LU/LC product) of the city. Green areas include linear green features such as river alignments, hedges and trees, as well as public parks, private gardens, forested areas, etc. Urban Green Area dataset are based on Very High Resolution (VHR) satellite imagery (Quickbird-2 (2007)) by means of automated classification processing techniques.
