Summary Since July 1st, 2004, the decree of application of the European directive 2003/54/CE of 26/06/03 obliges the suppliers of electricity, to indicate to all their customers the distribution between the different energy sources used to supply electricity and CO2 and radioactive waste content per kilowatt-hour supplied. The decree of 11 March 2021 imposed a change in the method of calculating the supplier mix, which is now based exclusively on the French residual mix published by Powernext and the Guarantees of Origin used by EDF.
