Overview
This dataset provides the simulation-based results for Figure 12 of the discussion paper "Urban Transport Policies and Emission Reduction Strategies in Riyadh: Insights from a Multi-Agent Simulation" (2026). It reports network-wide PM₂.₅ emissions under the baseline scenario and the reductions achieved under improved metro accessibility. Total baseline PM₂.₅ emissions reach 3,087 kg per weekday, with a 16.6% reduction (450.92 kg/weekday) following the metro accessibility intervention. Emissions are computed using COPERT speed-dependent factors applied to METROPOLIS2 simulation outputs.
