The dataset displays the distance in kilometers from the existing electricity grid in Madagascar. The dataset was developed by KTH-dESA, based on the Small Hydro GIS Atlas developed by ESMAP (2017) for existing grid data (https://energydata.info/dataset/madagscar-small-hydro-gis-atlas-2017).
