This dataset details vehicle types and ages for transit agencies reporting to the National Transit Database in the 2022 report year. Vehicle types describe the vehicles employed in direct operation or support of transit service. NTD Data Tables organize and summarize data from the 2022 National Transit Database in a manner that is more useful for quick reference and summary analysis. This dataset is based on the 2022 Revenue Vehicle Inventory and Service Vehicle Inventory database files. Rural reporters that operate in more than one state report their vehicles in only one of their states. In years 2015-2021, you can find this data in the "Vehicles" data table on NTD Program website, at https://transit.dot.gov/ntd/ntd-data.
