This a reference table for the Grade Crossing Inventory System, which is the application used to submit data for the Highway-Rail Grade Crossing Inventory (Form 71). The data dictionary for GCIS is attached as well. The LookupType column contains the name of the field/column in the source GCIS/Form 71 dataset. The LookupValue column contains the submitted value and the LookupText field is the human-readable text description of that value (e.g. for LookupType=TypeXing; LookupValue=3 and LookupText=Public, which designates that a crossing is public).
