This dataset provides a global overview of nuclear power plant units, including those operating, under construction, proposed, and retired. It contains information on reactor capacity (in megawatts), technology type, ownership, commissioning year, and operational status. Data are compiled and maintained by the Global Energy Monitor (GEM) from publicly available reports, regulatory filings, and official sources, and are updated periodically to reflect changes in global nuclear infrastructure.
