Overview

Research Triangle Institute (RTI) is developing novel third-generation fluidizable solid sorbents for their sorbent-based carbon dioxide (CO2) capture process. Two different types of sorbents are being developed, based on hybrid metal organic frameworks (MOFs) and hybrid phosphorus dendrimers (P-dendrimers), with long-term performance testing of the most promising sorbents in a fluidized-bed reactor.
