The train count and speed data is modelled by assigning the GPS pings to the nearest point on the nearest rail segment and then aggregated by train service and rail segment. Origin and destination are the first and last urban boundaries a train stopped in. The GeoJSON map includes track gauge, length and geospatial lines. Users can join the datasets to visualise train movement and calculate distance travelled for each train service. This dataset contains one month of anonymised data.
