Overview

Reactive reversible blade turbine (RRBT) is a new technology which provides a solution to hydro-power generation from slow-moving currents such as rivers, tides, and oceans. It features blades that pivot to capture the maximum force of the water current and then pivot again to a neutral position to minimize drag, allowing the turbine to continuously create torque. This data set characterize the power performance of the RRBT for power generation for different loads and incoming flow speeds. The ZIP file contains folders for 9 different loads, each containing files for various flow speeds.
