This dataset documents the location of historic and old growth trees throughout the Washington State Parks system. The historic trees of Washington State Parks are some of the most valuable and impressive resources within the State of Washington. Historic trees are at least 50 years of age and older, and are associated with some culturally significant historic value, such as plantings near former homesteads or other developed landscapes.
